Rain in many parts to begin today, Sunday, with some heavy falls in places. Some brighter breaks will develop this afternoon but there'll be scattered heavy showers too, merging to longer spells of rain at times, especially across parts of the midlands and mid-west. Highest temperatures of 17 to 22 degrees with light to moderate northerly winds, fresh at times near western and southwestern coastal fringes.

Mostly cloudy with showers or longer spells of rain tonight, heaviest across eastern parts of the country. Lowest temperatures of 13 to 15 degrees with light to moderate northwest or variable breezes, fresh at times near western and southwestern coasts.

Amárach

Mostly cloudy tomorrow, Monday, with showers or longer spells of rain, heaviest over parts of Leinster and East Ulster with spot flooding possible. Showers will become more isolated towards evening, and it will brighten up across parts of the west and south. Highest temperatures of 15 to 20 degrees in light to moderate, occasionally fresh, west to northwest winds.
