Highest temperatures of 13 to 16 degrees, with moderate to fresh, gusty southwest winds, strong at times along west and south coasts.

Clear spells and showers tonight, some heavy with a chance of isolated thunderstorms. Showers will become confined to the western half the country overnight. Lowest temperatures of 7 to 10 degrees with light to moderate west to southwest winds, fresher near Atlantic coasts.

Friday will be cool and breezy with sunshine and showers, some heavy. In the late afternoon, more persistent rain will develop in the west and spread eastwards though the evening. Highest temperatures of 13 to 16 degrees with moderate southwest winds.
