A cloudy, locally misty, picture for a time today with scattered showers, the odd heavy one, mainly affecting Ulster and Leinster. Some sunny spells will gradually break through with showers mainly confined to eastern areas this evening. Highest temperatures of 16 to 20 degrees, best values across southern counties, in a light to moderate northwesterly breeze.

Isolated showers will affect eastern areas early on tonight, otherwise it will be dry with long clear spells developing. Lowest temperatures of 7 to 12 degrees in a light northwest or variable breeze.

Amárach

Dry for much of Thursday with rather warm spells of hazy sunshine and just light westerly breezes. During the afternoon, cloud will gradually build across Atlantic counties with some rain, drizzle and mist arriving during the evening hours. Highest temperatures of 17 to 22 degrees.
