Largely dry tonight as rain and drizzle clearing eastwards parts and with just a few showers, mainly affecting Atlantic coastal counties. Towards morning, rain and drizzle will move in over parts of the southwest. Some mist and fog patches are possible too. Lowest temperatures of 0 to 4 degrees, coldest in the northeast where a slight frost is possible. Light to moderate westerly winds, fresher near northwestern coasts at first, will ease light variable towards morning.

Outbreaks of rain and drizzle in the southwest early tomorrow morning will continue to push up over much of the country, turning heavy at times near southern coasts with the potential for some falls of sleet or snow over parts of Munster and south Leinster, becoming confined to the southeast through the evening. Much of Ulster will remain largely dry with some bright spells and just a few showers near coasts. Afternoon highs of 2 to 6 degrees with light variable winds becoming light to moderate northerly in the afternoon, fresh and gusty near southern coast.
