Tonight will bring a mix of long clear spells and scattered heavy showers, mainly affecting west and northwest counties with isolated thunderstorms and hail. Rather cold with lowest temperatures of 2 to 6 degrees. Southwest will be moderate to fresh in strength.

Amárach

Wet and windy on Thursday with spells of heavy rain moving in from the west, bringing spot flooding. Some possible thunderstorms across western areas starting out too. Drier across eastern areas to begin and across western areas later as a clearance develops. Highest temperatures of 7 to 11 degrees. Fresh to strong southerly winds will veer southwest through the day and decrease moderate to fresh.
