Dry for many this afternoon with hazy sunshine, brightest over the eastern half of the country with cloud increasing from the west through the day. Rain and drizzle developing on western coastal parts this afternoon will slowly spread over west Munster, much of Connacht and western coastal parts of Ulster through the evening. Highest temperatures of 10 to 13 degrees with mostly moderate southerly winds, fresh to strong though along western coasts.

Cloudy tonight with the rain and drizzle gradually spreading eastwards, but it will be very light and patchy across Leinster and east Munster. Misty in places with some hill fog. Lowest temperatures of 4 to 8 degrees in a light to moderate southerly wind, persisting fresh to strong in some western coastal parts.

Tomorrow, Sunday, will have a cloudy, damp start with outbreaks of rain and drizzle. It will become mainly dry through the morning in Leinster, but will continue misty with rain and drizzle in parts of the west and north. Good dry spells in most other areas through the afternoon and evening but remaining cloudy. Highest temperatures of 9 to 12 degrees, in light to moderate southerly winds, fresher though in western coastal parts.
