Rain will persist in northern, northeastern and eastern parts today with a chance of spot flooding, but becoming lighter and patchier through the evening. Scattered showers in the west and southwest will clear this morning with mainly dry conditions developing for Connacht and Munster with some sunny spells and just isolated showers. Breezy at times with moderate to fresh northwest winds. Highest temperatures of 9 to 12 degrees.

Patchy rain in eastern and northeastern counties will mostly die out overnight. Dry and clear elsewhere with a slight frost possible over the western half of the country with lowest temperatures of 0 to 3 degrees. Milder further east under cloudier skies. Northwest winds will ease early tonight becoming largely calm.

Amárach

Sunday will be a mainly dry day with spells of hazy sunshine and just isolated spots of light rain or drizzle possible. Highest temperatures of 11 to 14 degrees in light variable breezes, becoming southerly later.
