Cloudy over Munster and Leinster overnight, with rain in southern coastal counties becoming more widespread. Showers elsewhere dying out, with clear spells developing. Lowest temperatures zero to plus 4 C., in light to moderate northeast breezes and with some grass frost forming under clear skies.
Cloudy over east Munster and east Leinster at first on Friday, with some persistent rain, but this dying out for the afternoon, with some bright spells developing. A sunnier start elsewhere, but showers will develop, some heavy, with a risk of hail and thunder during the afternoon and early evening. Top temperatures 9 to 12 C., in light to moderate northeast to northerly breezes.
