A very wet and overcast morning with bands of persistent rain moving north. The rain will be heavy and prolonged especially across Munster and south Leinster with localised flooding possible. A mix of clear spells and isolated showers will develop from the south later in the evening as the rain becomes confined to Ulster. Southerly breezes will be fresh at times and highest temperatures will reach 12 to 15 degrees.

Outbreaks of rain will linger across the northern half of the country leaving a mix of clear spells and isolated showers further south. Mostly clear and dry weather will develop overnight allowing mist and fog patches to form. Lowest temperatures of 5 to 9 degrees with southerly breezes.

Any mist or fog will clear with sunny spells developing. Cloud will develop during the afternoon however with a few showers following from the south. Staying mostly dry across the northern half of the country however with southerly breezes and highest temperatures of 9 to 13 degrees.
