SUMMARY: Warm and humid with some showers moving up from the southwest. Dry across many areas this morning with spells of sunshine. However, scattered showers in parts of Munster will extend across parts of Connacht, with isolated showers possible slightly further east. Warm into the afternoon and becoming quite humid with highest temperatures of 21 to 25 degrees generally. Less warm though across eastern counties with highest temperatures of 18 to 21 degrees, all in moderate to fresh easterly winds.

Anocht

Tonight will be very mild and humid. Largely dry for much of the night under broken cloud with just isolated showers. Heavier and more persistent showers will move up from the south towards dawn. Temperatures not falling below 11 to 15 degrees in light easterly breezes.

Amárach

Saturday will be warm and humid with a mix of cloud and sunshine. Scattered showers in the south in the morning will gradually extend into other parts of the country, some turning heavy with the chance of isolated thunderstorms and spot flooding. Mist and fog will also set in across southern areas later. Highest temperatures of 19 to 24 or 25 degrees, coolest in the south, in a light to moderate east to southeast breeze.
