Some further sunny breaks across the south and east this evening. Cloud increasing from the northwest early tonight, with outbreaks of rain and drizzle extending southeastwards to all areas with low cloud and hill mist. The rain will be persistent in parts of the north, but light and intermittent in the south. A humid night. Lowest temperatures 11 to 14 degrees in moderate southwest breezes.


Tomorrow Friday will be mostly cloudy. The day will begin misty with outbreaks of rain; these mainly in the east, but it will clear with most places dry for the afternoon. However it may remain cloudy over Leinster and Munster for most of the day, while a few sunny breaks will come through further northwest. Highest temperatures 18 to 21 degrees in light west breezes.
