Friday will be a fresh day with sunny spells and passing showers - most frequent across the north and parts of the east to begin. The showers will gradually become more isolated into the afternoon, with sunnier skies developing more widely. Rather brisk northwest winds will ease through the day too with highest temperatures of 12 to 15 degrees.
