Warm and sunny this evening for much of the country. A bit cloudier and cooler in southern counties and along Atlantic coasts with moderate and south to southeast breezes.


Dry early tonight but thickening cloud will bring some showers later. A humid night with the odd thundery downpour possible. Lowest temperatures of 14 to 17 degrees in moderate southerly breezes with mist on some coasts and hills.


Tomorrow will be cloudy with scattered showers in the parts of the west and south. Elsewhere there will be some bright or sunny spells, especially in the east. Highest temperatures of 19 to 23 degrees generally but reaching 24 or 25 degrees in east Leinster. Winds will be mostly moderate and southerly in direction.
