Mainly dry today with just isolated showers in the southwest. Most places will see a gradual increase in sunny spells, although cloud will linger across parts of the west and southwest. Highest temperatures 7 to 10 degrees in mostly moderate east to southeast winds, fresh near western and southern coasts, easing this evening.

Dry, cold and mostly clear tonight. Some frost is expected with lowest temperatures of minus 2 to plus 4 degrees, in a light easterly or variable breeze. A few mist and fog patches may also develop.

Any frost, mist and fog soon clearing to a dry and mostly sunny day on Wednesday, although some patchy cloud may affect southern coastal counties at times. Highest temperatures 11 to 15 degrees, in mostly light easterly breezes, but moderate, occasionally fresh, in Munster.
