Overcast for most this evening with scattered outbreaks of rain, heavy in places, though some areas will stay dry with brighter spells. More persistent and heavy falls of rain will push into southwestern parts this evening with spot flooding there. Highest temperatures of 16 to 22 degrees, warmest in the east, with a light to moderate southerly breeze.

Tonight will be wet as heavy outbreaks of rain spread northwards, leading to spot flooding, especially for southern counties. Some mist and fog too, particularly along southern coasts. Mild and humid with lowest temperatures of 12 to 15 degrees, in no more than moderate southerly breezes.

Friday will start off wet with spot flooding, especially for southeastern counties. The rain will turn lighter through the morning, gradually clearing eastwards, but may linger for a time for eastern counties. Sunny spells and scattered showers will follow from the west. Highest temperatures of 16 to 21 degrees, in just light southwesterly or variable breezes.
