Today will be bright and breezy with sunny spells and showers. The showers will extend eastwards to all areas through the morning and continue for the rest of the day. Some will be heavy. Highest temperatures of 11 to 14 degrees in moderate to fresh, gusty southwest winds.

Tonight, showers will continue, especially over Ulster, Connacht and west Munster. They'll become isolated in the east and southeast. Some may be heavy. Lowest temperatures of 2 to 7 degrees, coldest in the south in light to moderate west to southwest breezes.

Amárach

Saturday will be a bright day with sunny spells and scattered showers. Showers will die out in the west during the afternoon but will continue in the east until late evening. Highest temperatures of 10 to 14 degrees in light to moderate west to northwest breezes.
