Showers in the west will become widespread this morning, turning heavy and persistent at times with a chance of thunderstorms, hail and localised flooding. It will be generally cloudy today with limited sunny spells. Becoming breezy with moderate to fresh west to southwest winds developing, and highest temperatures of 9 to 13 degrees.

Anocht

Tonight, becoming dry for most with clear spells as showers ease early on. Staying cloudier in the southwest as showers give way to outbreaks of rain and drizzle. Lowest temperatures of 2 to 6 degrees, mildest in the southwest, with patches of mist and fog forming in light westerly or variable breezes.

Amárach

A dry and bright start for most tomorrow, with patches of mist and fog in places. Cloud and rain in the southwest will gradually spread northeastwards through the morning and afternoon with the rain turning heavy at times, though Ulster and north Leinster will stay dry for much of the day. Highest temperatures of 11 to 14 degrees in moderate to fresh south to southeast winds.
