Scattered showers, some heavy in Ulster and the midlands will ease out early tonight. Further outbreaks of rain will mainly affect the western half of the country overnight, with a few heavy bursts possible. Some patches of mist or fog patches also. Lowest temperatures 9 to 13 degrees with light southerly breezes.

Wednesday will start off with good bright spells in the east while showers in the west will slowly edging eastwards over the country. These slow moving showers may turn heavy at times in the midlands and east through the afternoon with the risk of some spot flooding. Highest temperatures 17 to 20 degrees with light southerly breezes, becoming westerly in the west.
