Bright and breezy today, Tuesday, with sunny spells and scattered showers. The showers will become more widespread later today and some of them could be heavy or prolonged, especially across parts of the west and northwest. Highest temperatures of 10 to 13 degrees in moderate to fresh and gusty west to southwest winds.

Tonight

Variable cloud and clear spells tonight. Scattered showers at first, but the showers will become largely confined to the west and northwest overnight, where they will remain heavy at times with a chance of hail. Lowest temperatures of 3 to 7 degrees. West to southwest winds will fall light to moderate in the east and south, but will continue moderate to fresh and gusty in the west and north, strong to gale force near western and northwestern coasts.

Tomorrow

Tomorrow, Wednesday, will be another breezy day with sunny spells and scattered showers. The showers will be mainly in the west and north during the morning, where some will be heavy with a chance of hail. Highest temperatures of 9 to 12 degrees in moderate to fresh and gusty westerly winds, occasionally strong in the west and north at first. The winds will ease and the showers will become increasingly isolated by evening.
