Elsewhere, showery spells of rain will become widespread through the morning, turning heavy and squally at times with the chance of isolated thunderstorms and localised flooding. Occasional sunny spells will break through as the day goes on. Highest temperatures of 16 to 21 degrees, with mostly light to moderate southerly or variable breezes, gusty at times in heavy showers.

Breezy tonight, particularly along Atlantic coastal areas with and gusty northwest winds. Scattered showers will become more isolated through the night with clear spells developing in places. Lowest temperatures of 10 to 14 degrees in moderate to fresh west to northwest winds.

Amárach

Monday will continue breezy for a time with isolated showers. Cloud will increase early on from the west with outbreaks of rain and drizzle following. Parts of the southeast will remain dry for much of the day with occasional sunny spells. Feeling cooler with highest temperatures of 14 to 19 degrees in moderate to fresh westerly winds.
