Wet and rather windy tonight with outbreaks of rain and drizzle; mist and coastal fog too. Southerly winds will increase fresh to strong and occasionally gusty. Lowest temperatures of 2 to 5 degrees in the Ulster and Leinster early on in the night, but between 6 and 9 degrees elsewhere.

Sunday will be milder than recent days, but turning wet and windy at times, especially later. Starting out dull and breezy with patchy outbreaks of rain, drizzle and mist. Becoming windy from mid-afternoon with strong and very gusty south to southwest winds affecting much of the country, reaching near gale to gale force in some coastal areas. Heavy spells of rain will move up from the southwest during the afternoon with scattered heavy showers following for the evening. Highest temperatures of 9 to 12 degrees.
