Mostly dry at first this afternoon. Rain will develop on Atlantic coasts later this afternoon, extending across the western half of the country by evening and spreading to remaining areas early tonight. Becoming breezy also with southerly winds increasing fresh and gusty. Top temperatures 10 to 13 degrees.
Tonight will be windy with outbreaks of rain across the country, persistent and heavy at times. The rain will clear most eastern and southern parts by dawn. Lowest temperatures 8 to 11 degrees. Fresh southerly winds will be strong and gusty on exposed coasts.
Wednesday will be a windy day with occasional light rain or drizzle. The rain will be persistent and heavy at times in the west. It will stay mostly cloudy throughout the day with hill fog. Highest temperatures of 13 to 15 degrees. Fresh to strong south to southeast winds will be up to gale force on Atlantic coasts.
