Wednesday Night: Cloud and outbreaks of rain in the south and southwest will extend northwards to most parts on Wednesday night, though some parts of Ulster may remain dry until morning. The rain will be heavy in places overnight, especially in parts of Munster. Lowest temperatures of 10 to 13 degrees in light to moderate south to southwest winds.
Thursday: Wet with widespread rain to begin on Thursday, bringing a risk of spot flooding in places. Current indications suggest the rain will become patchier and more intermittent during the afternoon with more widespread and persistent rain returning in the evening. Mostly moderate southerly winds will become lighter in the west and northwest later in the day. Highest temperatures of 15 to 20 degrees. Mostly cloudy with further outbreaks of rain and drizzle on Thursday night. A mild and humid night with lowest temperatures of 12 to 15 degrees. Light to moderate southerly winds increasing moderate to occasionally fresh overnight.
Friday: Still some uncertainty in the exact details, but current indications suggest cloudy conditions with further spells of rain and drizzle, possibly heavy, in the east and south. Brighter, drier and more showery conditions in the west and north gradually extending eastwards as the day goes on, though rain may persist for much of the day in eastern coastal counties. Mostly moderate southerly winds will veer lighter southwest as the rain clears. Highest temperatures of 15 to 20 degrees.
Saturday: It looks as though further cloud, rain and drizzle will feed up from the south to affect much of Munster and Leinster on Saturday with the best of the drier and brighter weather further west and north. Highest temperatures of 15 to 18 degrees with light to moderate south to southwest winds becoming light southerly or variable later.
