Blustery showers or longer spells of rain today, turning heavy at times with the chance of hail and thunder. Some brighter spells in the east. Highest temperatures of 6 to 9 degrees in fresh to strong west to northwest winds.
Outbreaks of rain will quickly clear southwards tonight with isolated showers and clear spells following. Fresh to strong northwesterly winds will moderate as the rain clears. Lowest temperatures of 3 to 6 degrees.

Cold tomorrow with a mix of sunny spells and just the odd light shower in northern areas. Highest temperatures of 7 to 9 degrees in moderate to fresh north to northwest winds.
Overview: A drier and brighter start to the week before turning more unsettled and milder from around mid-week.
Monday night: Cold and mostly dry on Monday night apart from a few showers moving in over Ulster. Lowest temperatures of 1 to 5 degrees in light to moderate northwest winds.
Tuesday: A generally dry and bright day with sunshine and the chance of just the odd light shower. Cloud will begin to thicken from the west later during the afternoon though. Highest temperatures of 6 to 11 degrees in light westerly breezes.
Tuesday night: Cloud will continue to build from the west with outbreaks of rain and drizzle developing near Atlantic coasts and spreading eastwards. Rain will become widespread by morning. Lowest temperatures of -1 to 5 degrees, coldest in the east early on in the night, in light to moderate southerly winds, freshening near western and northern coasts.
Wednesday: A wet start with rain clearing eastwards in the morning but remaining cloudy with patches of drizzle and mist. Relatively mild with highest temperatures of 11 to 13 degrees. Moderate southerly winds, fresh to strong along coasts, will veer southwest with the clearance of the rain in the morning.
Wednesday night: Cloudy and breezy with further outbreaks of rain spreading from the Atlantic overnight. Mild with temperatures not falling below 9 to 12 degrees in moderate to fresh southwest winds.
Thursday: Rather windy with a spell of rain spreading southeastwards over the country during the morning followed by sunny spells and scattered showers. Relatively mild with highest temperatures of 12 to 14 degrees in moderate to fresh southwest winds, strong and gusty near coasts.
