This afternoon and evening will be generally dry with a fair amount of cloud and some sunny intervals. The best of the sunshine will be over the southern half of the country. There may be a little drizzle at times near northwest and north coasts. It will be quite warm with highest temperatures of 16 to 20 degrees and moderate southwest breezes.


Tonight will be dry with some clear spells. Cloud will increase over more northern counties overnight. Lowest temperatures of 7 to 11 degrees.


Still a good deal of dry weather on Thursday but patchy outbreaks of rain /drizzle will gradually extend southwards through the day. Clearer conditions with northerly breezes will follow. Highest temperatures of 13 to 18 degrees, warmest over Munster.
