Remaining dry for most areas this evening but rain and drizzle in the west and southwest will spread into west Munster, west Connacht and coastal parts of west Ulster. Some lingering bright spells in the east but cloud will continue to build from the west through the evening. Breezy at times in moderate southerly winds, fresh to strong at times along western coasts.

Tonight will be cloudy with rain and drizzle gradually spreading eastwards across the country, becoming lighter and patchy as it does. Misty in places with some hill and coastal fog. Lowest temperatures of 4 to 8 degrees in a light to moderate southerly breeze, fresh at times on western coasts.

A cloudy and damp start to tomorrow, Sunday, with outbreaks of rain and drizzle. Patchy rain and drizzle will continue in the west and north through the day. However, it will become largely dry for much of the east and south through the morning and afternoon with just isolated patches of drizzle. Highest temperatures of 9 to 12 degrees in a light to moderate southerly breeze.
