This evening will be dry in most areas but showers will affect Ulster and parts of the southwest.

Early tonight will be mainly dry with clear spells and with frost developing as temperatures fall to between -1 and +3 degrees with moderate west to northwest winds. Rain will develop in Ulster will move southwards across Leinster and Connacht overnight. Wintry showers will follow into Ulster. Munster will stay mainly dry.

Amárach

On Friday morning, cloud and patchy rain will affect Munster and will clear to the south. Sunny spells and scattered showers will follow, these mainly in Ulster and Connacht, with some falling as sleet or snow in Ulster. Cold with highest temperatures of just 2 to 6 degrees and moderate to fresh northwesterly winds.
