Most areas will have a dry and fairly cloudy afternoon, with just a few sunny spells. There will be some patches of drizzle, mainly in Atlantic coastal counties also. Highest temperatures of 6 to 9 degrees in light to moderate southerly breezes, fresher near coasts in the west and northwest.

Tonight will continue mostly cloudy with patchy light rain or drizzle possible mostly in southern and western coastal counties. A few clear spells will develop later in the night. Lowest temperatures of 2 to 6 degrees generally, but possibly dipping lower locally under any prolonged clear spells, while some mist and fog patches will develop there also in light to moderate southerly winds.
