Wet and windy tonight across eastern and northern counties with some spot flooding. The rain will clear eastwards overnight and will be followed by scattered thundery showers of rain and some hail. Strong and gusty southerly winds will ease off somewhat for a time overnight. Lowest temperatures of 0 to 4 degrees.

Amárach

It will become windy again tomorrow with mostly strong and gusty south to southwest winds developing. While it will be a largely sunny start across the east and northeast, scattered blustery heavy showers elsewhere will become widespread into the afternoon, with embedded hail and some thunderstorms too. Showers will merge to longer spells of rain at times. High or very high seas are expected in Atlantic areas too. Cool with highest temperatures of 7 to 11 degrees.
