A dry, bright day for many, however, rain and drizzle will linger in the south and east early this morning, before clearing eastwards. The afternoon will see a mix of sunny spells, turning hazy at times, and just isolated showers developing. Those showers will become more frequent and heavier, possibly thundery, at times later this evening in the west and northwest. Highest temperatures of 13 to 18 degrees in a light to moderate southwest breeze, fresher on west coasts.

A dry night for many with clear spells, though scattered, occasionally heavy, showers will continue in the west and northwest. Those showers will gradually spread northeastwards overnight. Lowest temperatures of 9 to 13 degrees in light to moderate southwest winds, fresher on the coast.
