A cloudy but dry start for most this morning away from western areas, here outbreaks of rain and drizzle continue. The rain and drizzle will extend northeastwards through the day, heaviest and most persistent in the southwest and west. However, some parts of the southeast and east may remain mostly dry through today. Highest temperatures of 14 to 20 degrees, coolest in the west, in mostly light easterly breezes. Some mist patches also.

Cloudy with outbreaks of rain and drizzle spreading northwards across the country. Much of Leinster will remain largely dry overnight. Milder than previous nights with lowest temperatures of 11 to 16 degrees in light to moderate northeasterly winds.

Bank Holiday Monday is likely to be a cloudy day overall with scattered outbreaks of rain and drizzle continuing to affect much the country. Heavy and possibly thundery downpours developing towards the evening. The best of any sunny spells will be towards the east and southeast during the afternoon. Becoming humid with highest temperatures of 18 to 23 degrees in light to moderate southeasterly winds.
