Today will be warm or very warm and dry for most with spells of sunshine, but it will be cloudier in parts of Connacht and west Munster with just a few spots of light rain or drizzle in parts. Highest temperatures will range from 22 to 27 degrees generally, warmest in the east and midlands, though a little lower under the cloudier skies of the southwest and west. Winds will be mostly light to moderate southerly, a little fresher for a time along parts of the west coast.

It'll be cloudy tonight in parts of the west and southwest, with some scattered outbreaks of rain and drizzle at times, especially in coastal parts. Elsewhere, there'll be some clear spells, but with the likelihood of a few showers moving up from the south. There'll be some mist and fog around too, especially further to the south and southwest. Very mild, humid and muggy with temperatures not falling below 15 to 18 degrees in light to moderate south to southeasterly breezes.

Tomorrow, Wednesday, will bring a good deal of dry weather, though there'll be some scattered outbreaks of rain or showers, especially further to the west. There'll be a good lot of cloud to begin, though with spells of sunshine too, the best of these in the east and southeast, while it'll likely brighten up in some other areas too through the day. Some hill and coastal mist and fog may affect southwestern and western coasts at times. A humid and very warm or even hot day with highest temperatures generally ranging from 23 to 28 or 29 degrees, hottest in Leinster. Temperatures will be a little lower in some coastal parts of the west and southwest, ranging from around 20 to 23 degrees. Winds will be mostly moderate southerly.
