A good deal of cloud around today with just a few short bright spells breaking through the cloud. A few showers will occur these mainly in Munster, west Connacht and east Ulster. Highest temperatures ranging from 5 degrees in the northeast to 10 degrees in the southwest with mostly light breezes. A few isolated patches of mist may linger through the day.


Tonight will start off dry in many areas apart from a few isolated showers. Later in the night a band of rain and drizzle will extend from the west and spread eastwards overnight. Lowest temperatures generally 1 to 4 degrees but possibly a touch of frost developing for a short time in the east and northeast. Northwest breeze will increase fresh to strong and gusty along Atlantic coasts overnight.


Sunday will start off mostly cloudy and damp with patchy light rain or drizzle, which will gradually clear southeastwards by noon. Bright or sunny spells with just and isolated shower will follow from the west. Highest temperatures of 5 to 8 degrees with moderate to fresh northwest to north breezes.
