Fairly blustery today with sunshine and scattered heavy showers tracking eastwards with isolated thunderstorms and hail. During the afternoon, showers will ease from the west and south-west with most places becoming dry in the evening. Fresh and gusty westerly winds will also ease gradually. Highest temperatures of 8 to 12 degrees.

Anocht

Dry for many tonight with long clear spells though isolated showers will still occur. Cold with lowest temperatures of -1 to +3 degrees with frost and possibly some ice forming in light southerly or variable breezes.

Amárach

Mostly dry and bright to start tomorrow with sunny spells and just isolated showers. However, scattered, slow-moving showers from late morning, heaviest and most frequent for the northern half of the country with a chance of hail and isolated thunderstorms. Driest generally in Munster and south Leinster there through the evening with a little drizzle developing in the far south-west. Highest temperatures of 9 to 12 degrees in light, occasionally moderate southerly winds.
