Tonight, widespread showers over Munster, Connacht and Ulster will continue for a time early tonight but will gradually ease and become more scattered overnight, mainly affecting the west and north. Elsewhere there will be long dry and clear spells. Cold with lowest temperatures of 4 to 7 degrees in mainly moderate west to northwest winds, fresh on northern and western coasts.


Tomorrow morning, showers in the west and north will become more isolated, leaving a mostly dry and sunny morning. Cloud will increase from the west during the afternoon with rain and drizzle developing on western coasts during the evening. Highest temperatures of 12 to 15 degrees. Moderate westerly winds will back southerly during the day, increasing fresh to strong on Atlantic coasts during the evening.
