This afternoon, outbreaks of rain in Ulster will clear slowly northwards. Sunshine and showers will follow from the south. Some of the showers will be heavy with a chance of isolated thunderstorms and spot flooding, especially over Leinster and south Ulster. Highest temperatures of 13 to 16 degrees with light to moderate west to southwest breezes.


Tonight, scattered heavy showers will die out. There will be some clear spells for a time. However, outbreaks of rain and drizzle will develop in the southwest and west and spread across much of Munster and Connacht overnight. Lowest temperatures of 5 to 9 degrees in light to moderate southwest winds.


Monday morning will be mostly cloudy with patchy rain, drizzle and mist. It will brighten up in the afternoon with sunny spells and scattered showers. Cloud will build from the southwest in the evening with rain following later. Highest temperatures of 14 to 17 degrees with moderate south to southwest breezes.
