Today will be wet and windy as Storm Chandra tracks northwards over Ireland. Heavy rain this morning will gradually clear northwards with heavy or prolonged showers following. Fresh to strong, gusty east to south-east winds with gales near coasts, later becoming west to south-west
in Munster. Highest temperatures of 5 to 9 degrees.

Anocht

Early tonight, rain will continue in Ulster, but will clear northwards. Clear spells and showers overnight, mainly over the western half of the country. Fresh to strong south to south-west winds will become southerly and ease. Lowest temperatures of 1 to 5 degrees.

Amárach

Wednesday will bring bright ro sunny spells with some showers, these most frequent in the south and west. There'll be a fair amount of dry weather in the east and north. Highest temperatures of 7 to 10 degrees with moderate to fresh south-easterly winds.
