Inniu

Cool and blustery today with sunny spells and scattered heavy showers, some of hail with the chance of the odd wintry fall on higher ground. Highest temperatures of 5 to 9 degrees but feeling colder due to the added wind chill factor of mostly fresh and gusty west to northwest winds. The wind and showers will begin to ease towards the evening.

Anocht

Becoming largely dry early tonight as isolated showers die out and westerly winds ease mostly light. Lowest temperatures of -1 to +5 degrees, coldest across Ulster and Leinster, with frost and icy patches in places. It will turn cloudier across western areas towards morning as patchy drizzle and mist develops.

Amárach

Sunny spells for a time tomorrow, especially in the east, but becoming mostly cloudy from the west with scattered outbreaks of rain and drizzle following. Some hill, mist and coastal fog too. However, parts of the south and east will stay largely dry with just patchy drizzle. During the evening, more persistent rain will develop in the northwest. Highest temperatures of 7 to 11 degrees in light to moderate southwesterly winds, freshening at times for Atlantic coasts from the afternoon.
