Mostly cloudy for the rest of today. Mainly dry in the east and north. Rain and drizzle in the west and southwest will gradually spread acorss Munster and Connacht through the afternoon and evening. Highest temperatures of 4 to 7 degrees generally and 9 or 10 degrees in the west and southwest with moderate westerly breezes.


Tonight, light rain or drizzle will continue to spread slowly northeastwards. However, the northeast will remain mainly dry for much of the night. Lowest temperatures of 1 to 4 degrees over Leinster and Ulster and 4 to 8 degrees for Munster and Connacht.


Thursday morning will be mostly cloudy with light rain and drizzle extending to all areas. In the afternoon and evening, drier intervals will follow from the west. But there'll still be some patchy drizzle. Daytime temperatures of 5 degrees in the northeast to 10 degrees in the southwest with moderate west to northwest breezes.
