Occasional sunny spells will break through over parts of the east which will remain mostly dry until later. Mild with highest temperatures of 17 to 21 degrees with moderate to fresh southerly winds, stronger along Atlantic coasts.

Patchy rain will gradually clear eastwards later in the night with cloud breaking up and clear spells continuing overnight. Some mist patches will form as winds fall light with lowest temperatures of 11 to 14 degrees.

Cloud will build through the morning as rain moves in over Connacht and Munster, with heavy thundery falls possible. Rain will gradually spread east during the afternoon as fresh and gusty southerly winds veer westerly. Scattered showers will follow in behind with brighter spells developing. Highest temperatures of 14 to 18 degrees.
