Scattered showers will continue to feed in from the west through the evening, with some showers turning heavy and prolonged. Isolated thunderstorms in Atlantic coastal parts. Highest temperatures of 7 to 11 degrees with mostly light to moderate southwesterly winds, fresh along southern coasts.

Anocht

Scattered showers and some clear intervals early tonight. It will become mostly cloudy overnight as showers merge to give longer spells of rain in many areas. A clearance will reach the west coast towards dawn on Tuesday. Patches of mist and fog will form too. Winds will be mainly light and variable but moderate to fresh northwesterly winds will develop in Munster later. Lowest temperatures of 1 to 7 degrees, coldest in the west towards dawn.

Amárach

On Tuesday morning, rain will affect many central and eastern counties whilst clearer skies will have moved in across Atlantic coastal counties. Cloud and rain will gradually clear eastwards into the Irish Sea during the course of the morning with sunshine and isolated showers following. The afternoon will be generally dry and bright with lots of sunshine nationwide. Highest temperatures of 5 to 8 degrees with light to moderate west to northwest or variable winds.
