Largely dry tonight with long clear spells as any showers become isolated early in the night. Lowest temperatures of 4 to 9 degrees with light westerly winds.

Bank holiday Monday will start mostly dry with sunny spells and isolated showers. Rain will develop in the west in the afternoon and will spread eastwards in the evening, turning heavy with spot flooding possible. It'll become unseasonably windy also, with fresh to strong and gusty southerly winds, and gales along Atlantic coasts. Highest temperatures of 13 to 18 degrees.
