Rather breezy and overcast tonight with outbreaks of rain and drizzle over the northern half of the country. Cloudy elsewhere but mainly dry. Lowest temperatures of 7 to 11 degrees, mildest for western coasts. Southwest winds will be mostly moderate to fresh, strong and gusty though for north and northwest coasts.

Breezy on Tuesday with sunny spells and well scattered showers. During the evening the showers will become more frequent, merging to some longer spells of rain across Atlantic counties. Highest temperatures of 11 to 14 degrees with mostly fresh west to southwest winds.
