Cold today with any frost or ice patches clearing this morning. It'll be cloudy in most areas, but with some bright or sunny spells, mainly in the west and northwest. Lots of dry weather overall but with a little light rain and drizzle, mainly in the east and south of the country. Highest temperatures of 5 to 8 degrees in mostly moderate northeast winds, increasing fresh at times later, mainly in the east and northeast.

It will be mostly cloudy overnight but there'll be some clear spells, especially further west. There'll be a little rain and drizzle in the east and south but it'll hold largely dry elsewhere. Lowest temperatures of zero to +5 degrees in light to moderate northeast winds, fresher at times along the east coast. A touch of frost is possible in sheltered parts of the west and northwest.

It looks set to be cold and breezy on Monday with a good deal of cloud overall, though with some limited bright or sunny spells in the north and west. There'll be some scattered showers, mainly in the east in the morning, but spreading further westwards through the day, with a little wintriness later, especially over higher ground in the east. Overall though there'll still be plenty of dry weather, especially further west. Highest temperatures of 4 to 7 degrees in moderate to fresh east to northeast winds.
