Highs of 9 to 13 degrees in a freshening southwest breeze. Dull this evening with patchy outbreaks of rain moving in across the western half of the country.

Tonight will be cloudy breezy with scattered outbreaks of rain, turning heavy across parts of the Midwest and West. Parts of the Southeast will stay dry until morning. Relatively mild with lowest temperatures of 6 to 10 degrees with fresh southwest winds persisting. Some mist or fog patches will form overnight also.
