Inniu

Dry this morning away from the northwest, west and southwest, with a mix of cloud and some bright or sunny spells, the best of the sunny spells further to the east and southeast. Cloudy though further west, with rain and drizzle, along with some mist and hill fog, mainly affecting west Ulster, Connacht and west Munster. The rain, drizzle, mist and fog will only slowly extend a little further southeastwards through the afternoon and evening, weakening as it does, so becoming light and patchy, with a clearance following further west. The east and southeast will hold onto the dry and brighter conditions though for the day. Highest temperatures of 12 to 16 or 17 degrees, highest in the east, in light southeasterly breezes, veering light to moderate north to northwesterly with the clearance further west.

Anocht

The cloud, patchy drizzle, mist and hill fog will continue to slowly move southeastwards into eastern and southern parts tonight, with a clearance to dry, colder and clear conditions gradually following to most areas. A few isolated mist and fog patches will develop under those clearer skies. Lowest temperatures of 1 to 6 degrees generally, maybe a little lower locally, but not falling below 7 or 8 degrees in some southern and eastern parts, with winds becoming mostly light to moderate northerly or variable.

Amárach

Any cloud in the south and southeast and any mist and fog will soon clear to leave a dry, bright day with plenty of sunshine. Cooler than recently with highest temperatures of 10 to 13 degrees in mostly light northerly breezes.
