Tonight will bring a mix of long clear spells and scattered heavy showers, mainly affecting parts of the west and northwest with a chance of hail and isolated thunderstorms. Lowest temperatures of 2 to 6 degrees, and moderate to fresh southwesterly winds.

Wet and windy on Thursday with spells of heavy rain moving in from the west, bringing spot flooding. Some possible thunderstorms across western areas starting out too. Drier across eastern areas to begin and across western areas later as a clearance develops. Highest temperatures of 7 to 11 degrees. Fresh to strong southerly winds will veer southwesterly through the day and decrease moderate to fresh.
