Rather dull and damp this morning with patchy outbreaks of light rain, drizzle and mist. Throughout the afternoon showers will develop over Ulster while elsewhere will be mostly dry with sunny spells breaking through. Highest temperatures today of 13 to 19 or 20, that little bit cooler along Atlantic coasts where fresh westerly winds will be gusty.

Outside of the showery rain in the north, it will be a dry night with clear spells. Feelings quite breezy in moderate to fresh westerly winds with lowest temperatures of 7 to 11 degrees, feeling cooler along the south.

Amárach

Tomorrow Saturday will be dry for most with plenty of hazy sunshine around. A few light showers will occasionally fall over northern counties. Highest temperatures of 14 to 22 degrees, warmest in the south and east, in light to moderate northwest breezes.
