Cold today with sunshine and scattered showers, some turning to hail and sleet with snow possible, mainly over higher ground in the north and northwest. Highest temperatures of just 3 to 7 degrees, but feeling colder with an added wind chill factor in moderate to fresh northwest winds.

Tonight will be cold with clear spells and showers in the north, west and southwest. Some showers will turn to hail and sleet with a chance of snow once again over higher ground. Lowest temperatures of -2 to +2 degrees with widespread frost and some icy patches developing in light to moderate northwest winds.

Amárach

Tomorrow will be another cold day with frost and icy patches slow to clear. Many places will be dry with sunshine but showers will continue in northern and western areas, with further wintry falls possible. The showers will die out through the day. Highest temperatures of 3 to 7 degrees in light to moderate northwest winds.
