Dry for most this afternoon with hazy sunshine over the eastern half of the country and cloudier conditions further west. Cloud will increase from the west through the day with rain and drizzle in western and southwestern coastal areas slowly spreading over west Munster and west Connacht this evening. Highest temperatures of 11 to 14 degrees in moderate southerly winds, fresh to strong at times along western coasts.


Tonight will be cloudy with rain and drizzle gradually spreading eastwards across the country, becoming lighter and patchy as it does. Misty in places with some hill and coastal fog. Lowest temperatures of 4 to 8 degrees in a light to moderate southerly breeze, fresh at times on western coasts.


A cloudy and damp start to tomorrow, Sunday, with outbreaks of rain and drizzle. Patchy rain and drizzle will continue in the west and north through the day. However, it will become largely dry for much of the east and south through the morning and afternoon with just isolated patches of drizzle. Highest temperatures of 9 to 12 degrees in a light to moderate southerly breeze.
