Rather cloudy this morning but turning brighter as the day goes on with bright or sunny spells developing. Most areas will be dry with just the odd spot of drizzle possible, most likely in the south and east. Highest temperatures of 4 to 8 degrees in a mostly light northeast breeze, moderate at times in the south and east.

Cold and dry tonight with a mix of cloud and clear spells, coldest and clearest in the north and northwest. Lowest temperatures of -4 to +1 degrees generally with frost and ice developing on untreated surfaces. Light variable breezes or near calm conditions will allow some fog or freezing fog to develop. Cloudier conditions in the south and east will keep temperatures slightly higher and may bring a little drizzle.

Variable cloud and sunny spells tomorrow with fog clearing through the morning. Generally dry apart from the chance of a little drizzle, mainly near coasts. Highest temperatures of 3 to 7 degrees. Light variable breezes at first will gradually become westerly, increasing moderate in the north towards the evening as showers begin to move into northern coasts.
